I led the UI/UX redesign and frontend development of the GSAC website to improve performance, usability, and maintainability. The project involved rethinking both the user experience and the technical foundation of the site to better support GSAC’s members and services.
PROBLEM SPACE
The original website was built on WordPress and hosted on EuroDNS, resulting in slow load times, laggy interactions, and a frustrating user experience. Performance issues affected accessibility and made it difficult for users to quickly find important banking information. The platform was also limiting in terms of scalability and long-term optimization.
SOLUTION
I migrated the website to Hostinger and rebuilt it using React, significantly improving performance, speed, and responsiveness. Alongside the technical rebuild, I redesigned the UI and refined the UX to create a cleaner layout, clearer information hierarchy, and smoother interactions. The result is a faster, more reliable, and more user-friendly banking website that better serves GSAC’s members and supports future growth.
